Palliative Medicine is the field of medicine devoted to caring for people who are dying of a medical problem that cannot be reversed or cured.

Purpose

The purpose of this website is:

• To be a free textbook of palliative medicine for medical students, doctors and other health professionals. Obviously this wiki will never carry the same weight as a published textbook or journal article but none-the-less it hopefully will be a useful starting point for some basic information for conditions that are seen in the practice of palliative medicine.
